“Some home owners are looking for something cheap? There is no such thing as a $99.00 Burglar Alarm System. Don’t believe for a minute that you are going to get a professional system for $99.00. It is not a reality.Contract with a local area security company. Don’t lease your system unless you plan to move in a short time period. Purchasing a wireless system gives you the option to take it with you when you move or you can sell the system to the new home owners.
I recommend to clients that they purchase a cellular phone backup to the dialer or network alarm panel. Remember, phone lines do get cut or can fail. If you have a DSL line then buy a network system with cellular phone backup. There is nothing on the market that is a “cheap” professional system.
Small businesses investigating a security system should look at wireless security systems with cellular backup as well. Wireless systems are equal to hardwired at half the cost. 80% of the investment is for the components. Look at Network Alarm Panels if you have a DSL line; it is fast and accurate.”His certifications in the security systems industry include:

Pelco Video Security Institute: CM9740 / 9760 Systems
Panasonic: IPro Network System

Digital Monitoring Products: Certified Designer for Network Alarm Systems
